Edinburgh Business School

Edinburgh Business School is the graduate school of business of Heriot-Watt University.

Entry Requirements
  • A recognised bachelor degree (first or second class honor)
  • An IELTS score of Band 6.5
  • Three years of relevant working experience

If you are a mature entrepreneur/senior manager with extensive working experience without a degree but satisfies English language requirement, you may still be considered for entry. However, you will need to pass 3 core modules first in order to continue the programme.

Each EBS courses are assessed by 3-hour examinations. The examinations are held in June and December. Student will need to register 3 months in advance. All examination papers are marked by EBS faculty and subject to external review.


The maximum number of 2 exemptions will be awarded to those who’ve studied the subject before on a case by case basis.
