Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA qualifications)

The Scottish Qualifications Authority is the executive non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government responsible for accrediting educational awards.

The Level 4Higher National Certificate (HNC) makes up the first year of the Civil Engineering Degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of a civil engineering degree qualification in the UK university system.

The Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) makes up the second year of theCivil EngineeringDegree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the second year of a civil engineering degree qualification in the UK university system.
